The Global Content Director of Santillana, Luis Guillermo Bernal, has explained that this project "arises from the need that schools and families have to provide a solution to a reality that they experience daily inside and outside the classroom."

Santillana Inclusiva offers curricular materials adapted to the needs of seven priority care groups, as well as technical pedagogical guidance and advice to the centers. In this way, it seeks to improve the results and emotional well-being of students with different abilities or functional diversity.
