By ‘existing resources’ I mean not only digital resources form English ID, plus WhatsApp, Zoom, etc.,

but also Google Translate and the ability to do a whole range of things using translation of phrases, songs, student written paragraphs etc.

because we teach monolingual classes and teachers know their language, “a la ID method”, so you can see the advantages of our approach.

I will also be suggesting a list of techniques teachers can use with monolingual students.

During this session I will play up the fact that we can do things like translate, cognate, anticipate, etc., because we teach monolingual classes and teachers know their language, “a la ID method”, so you can see the advantages of our approach.

I will also be suggesting a list of techniques teachers can use with monolingual students.
