Richmond Solution offers different solutions to the educational institution according to the objectives of the English program.

These solutions take into account aspects such as the number of hours of English taught per week

the learning modality, the type of printed, digital or mixed content and others more.

I have been working with teachers and schools for over 40 years to help them transform their classrooms world-wide by moving away from lecture and textbook-based instruction to a more active learning teaching base.

The teaching base is infusing instruction in skillful thinking directly into content instruction.

I call this Thinking-Based Learning. I have worked through the Center for Teaching Thinking, an organization that I created in 1992 in the USA, which now has its international offices in Madrid, Spain.

And over these years I have developed and refined TBL to where it has had — and continues to have — spectacular results.

In this conference,I want to describe TBL by looking into some of these classrooms and showing how it accomplishes some of its great learning power.
